Call for a new vision

Call for a new vision

I will let Isaiah's vision speak for itself:

The wolf lives with the lamb,
the panther lies down with the kid,
calf and lion feed together,
with a little boy to lead them.
The cow and the bear make friends,
their young lie down together.
The lion eats straw like the ox.
The infant plays over the cobra’s hole;
into the viper’s lair
the young child puts his hand.
They do no hurt, no harm,
on all my holy mountain,
for the country is filled with the knowledge of the Lord
as the waters swell the sea.

We are in need of a new vision as we come towards the end of this year and look forward in hope to 2021. Perhaps Isaiah's vision can be a place to start as we look towards the end of or control over COVID 19, as we see the environment and the natural world gaining a new lease on life and we see the move towards ways of life that encourage people to work together so as to ensure we can hand on to future generations a world where people are safe and grateful.
