Loving God
we ask your blessing on our world as we again celebrate the birth of Jesus, the word that was made flesh and lived among us.
May this occasion bring families and communities together in celebration and strengthen the bonds that unite them.
May the suffering areas of our world find peace and relief and someday soon see an end to all that causes them pain.
