Fr Thomas (Tom) Rouse

Fr Thomas Rouse

Fr Thomas (Tom) Rouse is the Columban leader in New Zealand. He was ordained to the Columban priesthood on 8 May 1976. Fr Rouse was appointed to Fiji in 1976, where he spent most of his missionary life. In 2014 he was appointed Mission Coordinator of St Columbans, Lower Hutt, in New Zealand.

Fr Patrick O’Shea

Fr Patrick O’Shea

Patrick O ‘Shea graduated Naas CBS before joining the Columbans in 1967. Ordained in 1974 his first appointment was to the Philippines, where he served in the diocese of Iligan. He held various positions in England and Ireland between 1979 and 1989. After studies in Berkeley he was assigned to the staff of the Mission Institute in Turramurra, Australia in 1991. He was appointed to New Zealand in 2006 and works in the Mission Office.

Fr Donald Hornsey

After 40 years in South America ·· Chile, Brasil and Peru, Don returned to Aotearoa New Zealand in 2015 to live at St. Columban´s Lower Hutt where he accompanies refugees from Colombia and migrants from other countries.
